The Polk County Convention Complex
Designed to deliver an excellent experience for planners, exhibitors and attendees, Polk County Convention Complex is Iowa's premier showplace. Architecturally dramatic and accessible, the Plex is the most complete multi-purpose convention facility in Iowa. Over 300,000 people attend expositions, conventions, trade and consumer shows, sporting events, concerts, weddings, banquets and graduations hosted at the Plex each year. Our experienced staff is dedicated to serving the diverse and changing needs of our customers.
The Plex delivers wonderful flexibility to graciously host all your activities. Using both levels, 60,000 total square feet is available. The Skywalk Level of the Plex features a clear-span Exhibit Hall of 27,000 square feet, and 20,000 square feet of assembly room space which can be divided into ten separate areas. The Street Level provides over 13,000 square feet for meetings. Also available are boardrooms, meeting planner offices, and spacious lobbies for registration, receptions and breaks,
